So what do we actually do here for our members?

Well, for starters, we support Masonry Training and Apprenticeship through the International Masonry Institute (IMI). We work with community colleges, universities, and school districts during their Career Day programs to promote masonry as a desirable career choice. We offer a Fitness for Duty Program to our contractor members which will cover costs for job clearances and drug testing. We conduct hands on seminars, introducing architects and engineers to the effort and skill it takes to actually lay brick and/or block. And, through our relationships & partnerships with likeminded organizations, we continue to spread the word in Western Pennsylvania by providing continuing education for architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and tradesmen. The MCAWP is the masonry industry’s authority in Western Pennsylvania. Whether it’s education, training or marketing, the members of MCAWP have great opportunities to expand and improve their business opportunities by participation in this industry trade organization.
